Connie Hansen Garden Conservancy
Explore the acre and a quarter of winding paths beneath the canopy of ornamental trees, where beds of shade loving hosta, hellebores and primroses grow. Bridges cross the creek, leading you past iris beds into the East Garden, with its stone wall, sunny rock garden and colorful heather berm. Mature rhododendrons surround the perennial flower beds, glowing in the sun. This is a botanist’s paradise. Open to the public every day from dawn to dusk.
There are many enchanted pathways; gravelled and grass. Take any route that appeals and stay as long as you’d like. Yes, pets are welcome to enjoy the garden too! Admission is free but we welcome the appreciative support of visitors through donations, plant purchases and gift shopping.
